Clinical Supervision
The Semicolon Group PLLC offers board certified clinical supervision for LMSWs working toward clinical licensure as an LCSW in the state of Texas.
Our clinical supervision is in line with our mission and focuses on the best practices in screening for suicide risk, treatment for suicide intensity, and treatment for suicide grief, in addition to the best practices in social work clinical practice. LMSWs working in community mental health, crisis intervention, suicide crisis lines, inpatient hospitalization, intensive outpatient programming, and in group practices specializing on suicidal patients and/or the complicated grief of suicide loss are great fits for pursuing clinical supervision with us. If you’re interested in working with suicide and want to equip yourself with the best knowledge and training in the field, you’re in the right place!
Clinical supervision helps prepare LMSWs for clinical practice by equipping them with the knowledge to learn the skills of clinical assessments, diagnosing (using the DSM-V), treatment planning, intervention, discharge planning, and documentation. Supervisees are provided with the space to explore their strengths, work on their learning opportunities, and strengthen their skills – creating confident clinicians ready to make lasting change.
Our rate for individual clinical supervision is $75/hour. Group supervision is $50/hour when it’s available. Group supervision is contingent upon having multiple clinical interns at one time.
Note: We do not provide clinical supervision for LMSWs interested in working in general mental health or in a different niche. If you are interested in increasing your skills in working with folks with suicide experiences but don’t meet our criteria for clinical supervision, reach out to us to learn about professional consultation. We offer weekly, monthly, and a la carte options, and have special rates for students and clinical interns!
