I'm Worried

“I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you.
Let us work together for unity and love.”
Mahatma Gandhi – Prayer for Peace

We hear a lot from friends and family members who are worried about their loved ones – loved ones who may not be interested in or ready for counseling or support groups. We’ve heard the pain in your voices as you’ve tried to search for how to best help your person. The love you have for them has touched our souls so much that we decided to create a space just for you.

Come as you are, in all of your doubts, your insecurities, your questions, and your fears. We offer you the space to learn about what your person may be going through, how to talk to them about their thoughts, and when to get additional help. We offer you the space to explore your fears and increase your skills so that you can support your person even more than you already are. Our hope is that you’ll gain tangible skills to bring to your relationship and coping skills to process your own emotions.

Your loved one is lucky to have you. Truly. People like you make the world a little better, feel a little easier, and a smidgen more manageable. We are grateful for your willingness to show up in the hard places with your loved ones. It is our deepest honor to show up and support you.

If you’d like to find community with others who share the experience of supporting a loved one, check out our Supporting Loved Ones support groups. We have an open support group for family members and another open support group for friends. If you’re hoping for something a bit more intensive to give you the individual one-on-one space you’re craving, contact us for a free consultation about our Individual Therapy.
